Travel is always a process, and I typically find packing and organization to be the least exciting. For this reason, using the right carry-on bag and organization tactics is very important in preventing unnecessary stress. Personally, this means easy access to my essentials while navigating through the airport. Easily locating travel documents, lip balm, a portable charger, and inflight snacks in my oversized bag is key to minimizing travel day frustrations.
Ensuring that my travel bag is equipped with compartmentalized pockets and zippers is extremely important for staying organized. Having a specific place for each item not only keeps me sane but prevents the hassle of digging around my bag. I am totally over the abundance of totes on the market that serve no functional purpose and eventually become a pit of lipgloss and outdated receipts.
The other issue that I am constantly running into with carry-on bags is the strain that they cause on my neck and shoulders. Like many of you, hauling a suitcase and heavy tote can really wreak havoc on muscle tension. Which, of course, is only exacerbated by cramming yourself into an airplane seat for hours on end.
Recently, I made the switch to using a backpack as my carry on bag to help alleviate the physical stress of a tote. If you’re like me and have a ridiculous list of carry-on essentials, switching over to a backpack will save you from a lot of muscle pain. An issue that kept arising with most travel backpacks though is that they simply weren’t big enough. I constantly found myself emptying out the bag in search of one item.
When it comes to finding a bag that is both stylish and functional, I am obssesed with Baggallini’s 3-in-1 Convertible Backpack. You have the option to wear this bag as a backpack, handheld tote or crossbody. Making it ideal for any female traveler. In addition, this bag also has a sleeve to slide the right on top of your rollaboard. In my book, this is a top priority for any carry-on bag and makes a major difference in airport travel.
Baggallini’s new convertible backpack has easily become one of my travel staples. I just love how simple it is for this bag to transition. From over the shoulder backpack, suitcase carry-on, to sleek handheld tote. Not to mention, the black nylon fabric is incredibly durable and goes with nearly everything!
